The Rise and Fall of Australia: How a great nation lost it's way

Sounds pretty grim doesn't it.....

The book's premise illustrates the rise of Australia as an economic heavyweight, praising our decades of uninterrupted, recession free economic growth, and the exceptional quality of life we all enjoy.

The rise is contrasted with the fall of our politicians inept-ability, and the almost corrupt system in place in Canberra. The vicious and brutal nature of how our leaders are swept aside one-by-one (6 PM's in the last 10 years) is a result of a system that rewards candidates who've never had a life outside of brutal, argumentative politics, and who engage in dirty and manipulative tactics to get into power.
