We all know Arnold as the corny, cheesy action movie star of the 1980's and 1990's, who went on to become the Governor of California; yet he is so much more than that.
It blows me away thinking of how Arnold was able to become one of the most influential and inspirational men of the 21st century, considering where he came from.
He grew up in a post WW2 Austrian village that had been all but decimated, his father was a drunk, abusive, ez-Nazi who walloped him daily.
Through dedication, an iron mind and a vision, Arnold left Austrian to become a bodybuilder. His vision of being the greatest bodybuilder of all time came true; he became an infamous celebrity in America and made bodybuilding a mainstream sport.
He then went on to become the first muscle bound movie star, despite being told he would never be an actor due to his thick German accent and obscure name. His movies and screen presence inspired millions of men around the world to get into shape, and changed the way heroes are portrayed in Hollywood movies.
To top it all off, he then went on to shock the world and become the 'Governator', the Governor of America's most influential state.
His story is so inspiring, and is living proof that if you are disciplined enough, and believe in your vision, you can achieve things that today may seem completely absurd.
